Program Goals. Thanks to the many donors who are passionate about our mission, we have the funds to support a meaningful grant program. World Centres offer Girl Guides and Girl Scouts the opportunity of a lifetime – an international adventure where they can make new friends and go on their own journey of personal discovery. The World Centres are also part of the WAGGGS mission to help girls and young women gain life experience and personal development opportunities so they can go on to reach their full potential and be active, engaged and responsible citizens of the world.

Situated in diverse cultural and geographic locations across the globe, each World Centre offers a unique experience for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who are curious about the world around them. Many visitors return time and time again — feeling, often for the first time, that they really are part of a global Movement. With events designed for every age group, our participants will feel right at home surrounded by new friends from around the world.

They will have the opportunity to contribute to essential service projects in the local community under the guidance of our experienced staff. Throughout the year, we offer many international events with various themes, such as adventure, ecology, cultural celebrations and gourmet discovery.

We also provide custom events to groups and provide a bed and breakfast service to all our visitors. Pax Lodge is located in Hampstead, a suburb of London, England.
