We visited the North Carolina mountain town in the days after Christmas, staying in an Airbnb in West Asheville for five nights. The weather forecast was all over the place, and we had to pack for a variety of elements. It poured for two straight days with temperatures near freezing, and eventually dried and warmed to the mid-sixties; with our desire to ski during our visit, we also had to pack for outdoor activities as well.
