About the Fair Since , the Central Washington State Fair has provided the people of Central Washington an event that’s both fun and educational in a family atmosphere. The Fair strives to be the showcase for Yakima County’s agricultural, educational, civic and commercial interest. It provides an opportunity for citizens to work and have fun together. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the fair. Their dedicated support of sharing time and talents is vital to the fair’s success.

After gate admission, most exhibits and attractions are FREE. Our buildings are used for commercial, non-profit and competitive exhibits. Fairgoers are entertained by first-class stage shows, national concert performances, sensational midway rides, unique shopping and the best of fair food. Midway Rides are available from Butler Amusements. They have provided midway entertainment for the fair for many years. The midway features over 40 rides for young and old alike. Main Stage entertainment is located at the Corona Stage, featuring special entertainment almost daily during the fair. Main stage reserved seating is available for a charge and can be purchased at the Box Office or online through www.

Entertainment and contests are held each day of the fair. Local talent performs in a relaxed atmosphere. Tables are provided so guests can enjoy the fair food and entertainment at the same time.

Livestock is the foundation of the fair. The exhibits provide everyone the opportunity to experience our true agriculture roots Today many guests have not had the opportunity to see farm life that’s so important to our American way of life. The annual tradition and national running event attracts tens of thousands of runners each year. Ski to Sea , Bellingham This Enjoy a festival at the finish line in Fairhaven featuring live music, food, beer gardens, and more.

Irrigation Festival , Sequim Billed as the oldest continuously held festival in Washington, this event celebrates the development of irrigation in the area. Families can enjoy parades, arts and crafts, a logging show, and more.

Northwest Folklife Festival , Seattle One of the largest folklife festivals in the country is held over Memorial Day weekend. The event boasts performances from dozens of national and regional folk musicians, crafts vendors, and good food.

Packwood Flea Market, Packwood The multi-day event attracts hundreds of vendors. Visitors can browse an assortment of antiques, artisan gifts, upcycled items, art, and more. The Flea Market happens twice a year and is considered one of the largest in the United States. Enjoy a carnival and street fair, road races, a strong-man competition, parade, and more. Deming Logging Show , Deming Originally established in to raise funds for injured loggers, this event has grown to include dozens of exhibitions that display the skills and tools used in the logging industry.

The festival includes an auction, live music, and sand-castle building. Enjoy the Parade on 4th Ave. Each year, more than 6, teams play 14, games across 42 blocks in downtown. The Toyota Shootoff and slam dunk competition are highlights. Attendees can choose sips from Washington breweries.
