Students planning to enter education, nursing, management, mathematics or the sciences are encouraged to complete four years of mathematics. Students should study U. Students planning to enter a technical, scientific or health-related field are strongly encouraged to complete courses in biology, chemistry and physics.

College-bound students are encouraged to complete three years of a foreign language. Appropriate courses may include additional units from the arts, mathematics, language, social sciences, science or other college preparatory electives offered by the high school.
