I have a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown for a work conference and hope to see some of the sights and rock a bit while I am in Austin. Is it safe to walk around there at night or should I plan on finding a cab or just make sure to be home by sunset? I have lived here for like 15 years and between my friends and me I think that the most exciting thing that has happened is we went down to rainy street and saw some man naked rolling around in the street.
