The rooms are nicely decorated and have many small touches that make a big difference like night stands with lights and outlets on both sides of the bed, a hook for the hand towel by the sink, a built in seat in the shower, etc. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The location is nice because you are in the heart of Antler Hill Village within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and the winery. Date of stay: May Value. Richardson, Texas contributions helpful votes. Wonderful hotel but curtains need tweaking. We spent three nights here. I highly recommend staying on the property if you are coming to Asheville mainly to visit Biltmore House.

The only way you are allowed on the property is if you are staying at the hotel, Inn or a cottage OR on the day of your house tour. If you want to spend your days relaxing on, driving or walking around the property, riding bikes, kayaking, eating at the restaurants then stay on the property.

The hotel was clean, beautiful, and new. Our room was comfortable and clean with a lot of storage space. The best part was the shower. The shower head was large and they had great water pressure. Our room was on the first floor facing the driveway and there was a street lamp right outside our window.

The room had nice thick curtains but no header over the curtains. So, light came through the window and lit the room up all night. My husband found out that it was darker during his afternoon nap than it was at night because of the light. That was our only disappointment of the stay. Pretty big one though unfortunately.

The rooms are very well built and furnished. Its part of the overall Antler Village so its extremely convenient for dining and village activities.

Its not a luxury hotel and lacks much in the way of a relaxing common area, but its not fair to call it a Holiday Inn express. Its nice, but not a luxury property like the Inn. We ate in three of the main restaurants- the pub, village social and Bistro and liked them all. Now, in terms of visiting the Biltmore Mansion, its not super convenient.

You have to drive over there and park and take the shuttle. Seriously, its like the movie Trading Places when the old guys give their chauffeur a five dollar Christmas bonus. They send an email when you first book telling you about the exclusive discounts available on mansion tour tickets. I clicked thru on my phone and saw a price which I rechecked on a regular computer and then called. Why bother? If you want to visit the Biltmore on a budget there are many other options.

Would it kill them to offer a better discount on Mansion tour tickets to guests of the hotel? Thank you for taking the time to post a review.
